Free College Football Pick For Saturday Oct. 1

Every couple days here at Sportsbookbonus.ca, we’ll be posting a free pick that we are betting ourselves.

Like anyone else, we’re not going to win every single one of these plays. But over time, we expect these picks to be profitable for both us and our followers.

This Saturday, our favourite play on the NCAA football board is Stanford catching a full touchdown at Oregon.

The betting marketplace doesn’t seem to have caught on to how well Stanford has played this season, considering that the Cardinal has covered the spread by 19, 26 and 29 points each of the last three weeks. Last week, despite crossing two time zones for an early afternoon game at Notre Dame, Stanford destroyed a decent Fighting Irish squad 37-14. Quarterback Andrew Luck is having a standout season, completing nearly 63 per cent of his passes and throwing for 11 TDs while being intercepted only twice.

Oregon is off to a nice start itself, winning its first four games in decisive fashion. Only one of those wins was that impressive, though – last week’s victory at Arizona State – as the Ducks have beat up on New Mexico, a bad Tennessee squad and Portland State. And Oregon is certainly a tough place for visitors to win, but we’re not asking the Cardinal to win the game outright. We’re just asking Stanford to stay within a touchdown, and at the rate the Cardinal is going, that shouldn’t be a problem. Stanford has kept with Oregon each of the last two years, losing by a touchdown in 2008 and then defeating the Ducks 51-42 last November.

Take Stanford +7 at Oregon, and good luck!
