Best Sportsbooks To Bet 2017 NBA Draft In Canada

The 2017 NBA Draft has already brought us plenty of intrigue, whether it was the Boston Celtics trading away the No. 1 pick to the Philadelphia Sixers this past weekend, or the uncertainty of whether or not the Lakers will select UCLA superstar Lonzo Ball with the second pick.

Some NBA experts believe this may be the deepest and most talented draft class since 2003 (think LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade). Who knows, maybe the Raptors will even be able to pick up somebody decent with the 23rd overall selection.

One great thing about the NBA Draft is that it can dramatically change the futures of the teams with the top picks. This isn’t like MLB, or even the NHL. First-round selections in basketball don’t need years of development in the minor leagues. They’re thrown into the fire right away, with top picks of non-playoff teams often getting heavy starting minutes.

Whenever there’s interest like this in an event, betting lines usually aren’t far behind. And that’s exactly the case with this year’s draft, as many sportsbooks have posted 2017 NBA draft betting props for Thursday’s big night in Brooklyn. Not all books offer the same selection, however. A couple of them particularly stand out for providing us with a nice variety of betting lines that should pique our interest throughout the evening.

Here’s our ranking of the best sportsbooks to bet the 2017 NBA Draft in Canada. (We’ll look to update this post as more and more betting lines are posted leading up to the Draft.)

1. BetOnline

Betonline 2017 NBA draft betting odds

Always one of the first sportsbooks to post betting lines on anything, BetOnline has really stepped up for the 2017 NBA Draft.

As of Monday afternoon, they were offering Over/Under props on how high 14 different players will be selected in the draft, betting odds on who would go first overall (Markelle Fultz is the overwhelming favourite at -3300, with Lonzo Ball and Josh Jackson tied for second at +1400), Over/Under on the number of players drafted from several different schools or at different positions, and more.

To view BetOnline’s updated betting selection, go to www.BetOnline.com, click on ‘Sports’ in the top navigation, scroll down the menu on the left-hand side of the page and select ‘Futures and Props’. In the menu that opens beneath that, click on ‘NBA Draft’.

BetOnline is currently offering a 50% bonus up to $2,500 for new signups. Use BetOnline promo code “New2500” to take advantage of that.

2. 5Dimes

5dimes nba draft betting props

The NBA Draft betting props at 5Dimes are a bit of a hybrid of what is offered at BetOnline and Pinnacle.

They actually aren’t offering odds on who will be the first overall selection, probably because Fultz is considered to be such a lock. But you can bet on whether Ball will go Over/Under 2.5 picks (under is -395) and whether Jackson will go Over/Under 3.5 picks (under is -305).

There are also Over/Under props on 4 other players, plus Over/Under on the number of players drafted from several different schools, several different conferences. 5Dimes even has head-to-head props on which school will have more players drafted, Oregon vs UCLA or Indiana vs South Carolina.

In order to view 5Dimes’ NBA draft betting odds, you’ll have to sign up for a new account at www.5dimes.eu. From there, click on sportsbook, then click on ‘NBA props’ under the Basketball heading.

5Dimes offers several different bonuses for new players, but the best bonus is their reduced juice odds. Click here to read why.
