Bodog Redesigns Its Website

Bodog looks very different these days after redesigning its website during the 2015 summer.

With the busy fall sports betting season approaching, Bodog recently introduced a drastic redesign of its website.

At first glance, it’s a bit overwhelming. Bodog’s old website was glitzier than most sportsbooks to begin with, and the new design has even more graphics that can make it difficult for you to know where to look.

But as the old saying by Benjamin Franklin goes, when you’re finished changing, you’re finished. And Bodog clearly isn’t finished when it comes to being a world leader in dealing excitement.

With an open mind, let’s check out the new sports betting experience at Bodog:

Navigation and Betting

Old Sportsbook HomepageNew sportsbook homepage

Bodog sportsbook’s new home page (right image) looks a lot different than the old one (left image), but looks can be deceiving.

Yeah, the new look is even glitzier and flashier than its predecessor, but the nuts and bolts remain pretty similar.

Featured betting lines are still listed front and center,  and betting lines for whichever sport you want to bet on are just a click away.

The new home page lists betting lines for several games in each sport. It’s also a bit deeper, which allows Bodog to feature more betting lines on its home page than ever before.

We don’t love how it may take you a few clicks to get to a game that isn’t listed on the featured betting lines. But the tradeoff is that once you do find the game you want, there are a ton of different betting lines listed — not just the traditional moneylines, spreads and totals.

Live Betting

Old Live BettingNew Live Betting

Just like the home page, Bodog’s live betting appears to have received a major face lift. And again, the new version (bottom right) doesn’t differ that much from the old one (bottom left) when it comes to usability.

The small changes we notice include the fact that the live betting now comes up on a pop-up window, meaning you’re still able to access the regular betting lines while keeping on top of the live action.

We also like how the top part of the live betting screen has been condensed, allowing you to see more of Bodog’s wide range of live betting lines without having to scroll down.

Mobile

Again, we don’t love how you need to visit multiple pages to find betting lines that aren’t on featured games of the day. Fortunately, like the home page, the new Bodog mobile site is deeper and lists way more betting lines than before, so maybe this won’t be an issue for you.

A neat new feature is the arrows pointing up or down on the live betting lines, indicating which way the lines have been moving.

The new Bodog dashboard is a pretty cool feature. Once you’re logged in, you can click on your name in the top-right corner of the screen for easy access to a lot of different options.

You can see your balances in the Bodog sportsbook and casino, and what Bodog bonus offers you are entitled to. You can also make a deposit, refer a friend, withdraw money, edit your profile, view past transactions and access messages from the one dashboard screen.

The Last Word

We must admit, when we saw the Bodog redesign, we weren’t too excited about it. We’d gotten used to the existing Bodog platform, so it meant learning a few new tricks.

But though the new look may seem drastically different, it really isn’t. It just looks better, so we can understand why Bodog made the move.

Bodog remains a worldwide leader in providing its customers with lots of many exciting ways to get in on the action.
