The Edmonton Eskimos’ hot start has caught the attention of the oddsmakers.

Edmonton is the largest favourite on this week’s board in the CFL. The undefeated Eskimos have been made nine-point favourites as they prepare to host the 1-3 Argonauts Friday at Commonwealth Stadium.

This week’s other game, Montreal at Hamilton, has no point spread posted yet as oddsmakers wait to hear news on the status of Alouettes quarterback Anthony Calvillo. Calvillo, who injured his eye last week as 11.5-point favourite Montreal lost outright at home to the previously winless Roughriders, is listed as probable for this week.
