Horses Offering Value

Two horses have a good shot at winning this year at good odds. The truth is that Nyquist, while the favourite, isn’t the runaway pick by most to win this year’s event.

The smart money will be on Exaggerator and Brody’s Cause.

Exaggerator (+800)

If you asked us to pick which horse will win the 2016 Kentucky Derby we’d have to go with Exaggerator. In fantastic form, this horse is always right there and has all the tools to succeed here.

Brody’s Cause (+1800)

Excellent value here on Brody’s Cause, a horse with only two races under his belt this year including an impressive victory at Blue Grass. He has the added benefit of racing on his home track, calling Churchill home.  He’s won on this track before and trains here daily.

What we really love about him here is the increased track length which should help him more than most. He is a great late runner, something that is a huge plus at this length.

At +1800 we love the value.

2016 Kentucky Derby Longshot

Looking for that one horse who has a decent chance to win at high odds?  Well, your Kentucky Derby longshot best bet this year is….

Creator

The son of super stallion Tapit has pedigree on his side. Creator is currently listed at +2000 at Bodog and is one of those horses who just gets better each time out.

Taking the next step here and winning the Derby is certainly possible and a gamble we’re comfortable taking at 20/1.

Good luck!
