Where To Find The Best CFL Futures Odds

If you’re thinking about putting down a Futures bet on this year’s CFL champion, it’s worth your while to shop around.

There is a wide variety of odds being offered on the 2011 Grey Cup champion, I discovered with a quick tour around our recommended list of sportsbooks today.

Generally speaking, Pinnacle, 5Dimes, Bodog and JustBet are offering the best odds for CFL Futures bettors. But, depending on which team(s) you’d like to place a bet on, some other sportsbooks are offering better odds.

Here’s a look at where to find the best prices on each of the CFL teams this year. It’s interesting to note that seven different sportsbooks offer the best odds on at least one team this year, proving once again the value of having accounts at several different sportsbooks.

Calgary Stampeders

5Dimes is offering the best value on the Stampeders this year, putting up +285 odds. You can get +275 at Pinnacle, Bodog and JustBet, which isn’t much of a difference. But if you like Calgary this year, make sure not to bet it at The Greek, which is offering just +200 odds on your bet.

Montreal Alouettes

There is an interesting variance on the Alouettes this year, depending on which book you use. Sports Interaction, Bodog and JustBet are hanging the best numbers on Montreal, offering +350. Bet Jamaica isn’t far behind at +320, but shops like Pinnacle are only offering +275 odds on the Als.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats

The best value on the Ti-Cats this season lies at Pinnacle and 5Dimes, which has posted +700 odds on Hamilton. By contrast, The Greek is offering just +500.

Saskatchewan Roughriders

You’ll get a few extra cents on the Roughies if you bet them at Pinnacle or 5Dimes, since both are offering +725. Most other books have Saskatchewan’s odds in the +600 to +700 range, though The Greek has the Roughriders as the third-highest favourite at +450.

B.C. Lions

B.C. is ranked anywhere from third to sixth when it comes to likelihood of winning the CFL title. Pinnacle, The Greek and 5Dimes are offering Lions backers a +800 price, while JustBet and Bodog list B.C. at +550.

Edmonton Eskimos

Pinnacle has the best price on Edmonton, hanging a +850. 5Dimes isn’t far behind at +800.

Toronto Argonauts

The Argos are seen as the second-least likely Grey Cup champion this year by almost all sportsbooks, with the +1200 at Pinnacle, The Greek and 5Dimes standing as the most generous price. Interestingly, though, Bet Jamaica has Toronto ranked fourth with just a +650 return.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers

There’s not a lot of faith in the Bombers this year, with all of our recommended sportsbooks offering +1000 or higher on Winnipeg. If you like to live dangerously, the +1800 price is easily the best value on the Blue Bombers this year.
