Miami not only covered the +8.5 against the Steelers, they blew out Pittsburgh 30-15, continuing the Steelers’ pattern of playing poorly on the road. Roethlisberger left the game with an injury, but we’re not sure it mattered.
And Andy Reid improved to 16-2 following the bye week in his career as the Chiefs hammered the Raiders 26-10 in Oakland, easily covering as 1-point road favourites.
In our teaser, the Rams fell by 3 points in Detroit to cover +9, but we needed a fourth-quarter rally by the Seahawks to complete the win. Seattle looked home and cooled with a 17-3 lead at halftime, but Atlanta scored 21 points in the third quarter before the Seahawks answered with a touchdown and field goal in the last 5 minutes of regulation.
