Longshot Tagliani Canada’s Only Hope At Indy 500

If you want to bet on a Canadian on this weekend’s Indy 500 betting odds, you only have one option.

Alex Tagliani will be the only Canuck competing in this year’s race after Oakville, Ont.’s James Hinchcliffe suffered a fiery crash during Monday’s practice run that will sideline him for the event.

Hinchcliffe was Canada’s top hope at the Indy 500, with Bodog ranking him at 33:1 odds.

Tagliani is listed at 100:1 on the Indy 500 betting odds.
