Why to bet on the Blue Jays: Rookie RHP Scott Redmond had been very good prior to his last outing against Houston. Redmond is 1-0 with a 2.16 ERA in four starts at Rogers Centre. Robinson Cano is likely out of the lineup for New York with a sore hand.

Why to bet on the Athletics: Oakland’s bats are hot right now, scoring 13 runs in 14 innings this series (Tuesday’s game was called after five innings due to rain). +165 is a nice price for a team as good as the Athletics, even if they’re on the road.
Why to bet on the Tigers: Detroit should be motivated after dropping the first two games of this series. Starter Doug Fister is 1-1 with a 1.67 ERA in his last four starts against the A’s. A’s are 1-6 in starter Dan Straily’s last seven starts, while Tigers are 24-8 in Fister’s last 32 outings at home.

Why to bet on the Orioles: Every game is important for Baltimore, which now trails the A’s by 3.5 games for the second wild-card spot. Orioles have won 11 of their last 15 games in Boston and 23 of their last 34 overall against the Bosox.
