If you plan to take New England or Seattle this weekend on your NFL spread picks, you’ll need them to win by a touchdown to cover.

In fact, Seattle will need to win by more than a TD, favoured over the Packers by 7.5 points at Sports Interaction. New England is a slightly smaller favourite, laying 6.5 points to the Colts.

Online sportsbooks give you a variety of options when you do NFL betting. You can make traditional NFL spread picks, or you can do moneyline parlays, teasers or buy points.

NFL betting: moneyline parlay

You could always parlay the two favourites together on the moneyline if you’re concerned about the high point spreads. A moneyline parlay of Seattle and New England pay s -126 odds at Sports Interaction.

NFL betting: 6-point teaser

For even better odds on a Seattle/New England parlay, you could play a 6-point teaser on both teams to move the point spread down under the key number of 3.

Teasing Seattle and New England at 5Dimes pays even odds. The only difference between this and the moneyline tease is that both teams still need to cover a point spread, just a lower one than before.

NFL betting: buying points

If you want to move the NFL odds in your favour but don’t want to bet on both teams, you can buy points.

You could buy the Seahawks down to 6.5 point favourites at Pinnacle Sports for -130 odds. If you just wanted them down to -7 so you would push your bet if the game was decided by a touchdown, you could get them at -115.
