The Habs are sizeable underdogs to take down Sidney Crosby and the Penguins tonight.

A nice night for us last night, cashing 6 of our 9 bets for +3.1 units including comfortable underdog wins with the Devils, Senators and Blue Jackets.
Let’s see if we can keep it rolling tonight with four games available on the NHL hockey betting docket, including the Canadiens and Flames in action. Here are betting previews, offshore betting odds and Proline betting odds for all the action (Proline odds are from Ontario).

Hurricanes at Flyers
Offshore betting odds: not listed as of 9 am eastern
Proline betting odds: not listed as of 9 am eastern

A night after their originally scheduled game was postponed due to a snowstorm, the Hurricanes and Flyers will try to get this one in. Carolina’s probably not happy to be spending any more time in Philly than it has to, considering the Canes are 5-17-2 in their last 24 visits to the Flyers. The Hurricanes have cooled off of late, losing three of four after a five-game winning streak. Philadelphia has earned points in four straight games, averaging four goals per outing during that span. With the over 17-6-4 in the Flyers’ last 27 games, we like that trend to continue.
Our pick: Over 5.5 (once lines are posted)

Canadiens at Penguins
Offshore betting odds: Penguins -180, O/U 5.5
Proline betting odds: V+ 3.30/V 2.50/T 6.50/H 1.35/H+ 1.70, O/U 5.5

Montreal has alternated wins and losses over its last eight games and is coming off a loss in Toronto, so perhaps the Habs are due for a victory. It won’t be easy in Pittsburgh, however, where Montreal has lost four in a row. The Penguins should also be in a bad mood after being embarrassed in their last game, falling 5-1 to the Panthers at home as -267 favourites. Pittsburgh is 41-10 in its last 51 games at home, and 4-1 in its last five after losing by three goals or more.
Our pick: Penguins -0.5 in regulation

Blackhawks at Red Wings
Offshore betting odds: Blackhawks -150, O/U 5.5
Proline betting odds: V+ 1.80/V 1.40/T 6.50/H 2.30/H+ 3.00, O/U 5.5

The Blackhawks seem to be getting back on track after a cold spell, beating the Ducks and Bruins in their last two outings. Detroit hast lost four of its last six and continues to struggle at home, where it is an uncharacteristic 7-11-3-4. Chicago has won 11 of the last 14 meetings in the series and 10 of its last 13 in Detroit. The under is 20-6-4 in the last 30 meetings.
Our pick: Under

Coyotes at Flames
Offshore betting odds: Coyotes -130, O/U 5.5
Proline betting odds: V+ 2.00/V 1.50/T 6.50/H 2.10/H+ 2.90, O/U 5.5

Calgary might not be very good, but it’s hard to justify the Coyotes laying -133 chalk considering they’ve lost their last four on the road and are 5-13 in their last 18 overall. Phoenix has also dropped its last four trips to the Saddledome. This line reflects just how bad Calgary has been at home, losing 16 of its last 21 in friendly confines, but the Flames play hard and are worth a look as a hungry home dog.
Our pick: Flames
