There’s a new team on top of the Sports Interaction Stanley Cup odds.

The New York Rangers (+750) are the Stanley Cup betting favourite after going on a 15-2-3 run. They’re followed by the Ducks and Canadiens at +800, and the Blues at +850.

The Broadway Blueshirts have done their recent damage with several stars out of the lineup, most notably goaltender Henrik Lundqvist.

“Sure, Cam Talbot has been good in the net, but he’s no Lundqvist,” said a Sports Interaction NHL betting analyst. “This is a team that is proving it can overcome major injuries and will only improve as Lundqvist, Kevin Klein and Marty St. Louis get back in the lineup.”

The Rangers were +1400 to win the Stanley Cup on Feb. 3, just a day after Lundqvist hit the shelf with a vascular injury.
