After struggling to earn a split at home in the first two games of their first-round playoff series with the Milwaukee Bucks, the Toronto Raptors are still favourites to advance to Round 2 – but their odds have been sliced in half from when the series began.
Raptors Bucks Series Betting Odds
Following Toronto’s 106-100 win over the Bucks in Game 2 Tuesday in Toronto, Pinnacle.com listed the Raptors as -215 favourites on the Raptors-Bucks series betting odds. Toronto opened the series as a -400 favourite to advance to the second round.
Bodog priced the Raptors’ chances of beating the Bucks around the same as Pinnacle after Game 2, making the Raptors -220 favourites and listing Milwaukee at +180.
The young Bucks covered the spread in the first two games of the series at Air Canada Centre, beating Toronto 97-83 as a 7.5-point underdog in Game 1 Saturday and then covering the 8-point spread in its 6-point loss Tuesday.
Milwaukee now holds home-court advantage for the remainder of the series, with Game 3, Game 4 and, if necessary, Game 6 to be played at BMO Harris Bradley Centre. The Bucks are 23-18 this year on their home floor, while the Raptors sport an identical 23-18 mark away from Toronto.
