Just because football season is over doesn’t mean the sports betting season is.
We Canadians are known for loving and betting hockey, but a lot of us are doing basketball betting as well.

“In terms of overall take, basketball is bigger. As well as the NBA, there are all the college teams and international teams,” said a Sports Interaction betting analyst.
“But if you look at the two pro leagues, the NBA and the NHL, they’re both about even in terms of betting interest. NBA bettors tend more for the point spread and the hockey bettors favour the moneyline, understandably enough, but they work out about even at our book.”
In addition to NHL betting and NBA betting, there’s also the Daytona 500, March Madness, Major League Baseball, Masters golf tournament, Euro Cup soccer qualifiers and Kentucky Derby on the horizon.
