The Masters betting odds got a bit of a shakeup Friday when Tiger Woods announced his intention to play next week at Augusta.

Tiger hasn’t won a golf tournament since the 2013 Bridgestone Invitational, and he hasn’t won a major since the 2008 U.S. Open. He also hasn’t played competitively since early February.

But how much does any of that matter? There will be plenty of people taking a shot on the Tiger Woods Masters betting odds, which range from as low as +2800 at Bodog to +5000 at 5dimes as of Saturday.

Former British Open champion Darren Clarke has warned people not to write off Woods, who is a four-time winner at Augusta.

“I don’t think we should be too hasty to write him off because he’s gone through so many swing changes in the past and managed to prove people wrong,” Clarke told the Belfast Telegraph.

“He’s one of the best players that’s ever played the game and we tend to forget that.”
