CFL Betting Picks For Week 11

1-1 split for us in Week 10, bringing us to 10-7 on the year for +2.25 units.

The win was on a 2-team, 6.5-point teaser, with the Lions (+9) and Roughriders (+20) both covering their inflated spreads.

Our loss was on the Alouettes -1 at home to the Blue Bombers. It was a tight game until Winnipeg pulled away in the fourth quarter to prevail by 14. Montreal piled up 23 first downs to the Bombers’ 16, but the Als couldn’t overcome 4 interceptions.

Week 11 is a busy week with 5 games on the schedule, including a pair on Labour Day Monday. Don’t have a ton of time today but wanted to get the Week 11 CFL betting picks up in good time, so we’ve posted 2 picks for now. We may add more later.

Week 11 CFL Betting Picks

Redblacks at Alouettes (Thursday, 7:30 p.m.)

Ottawa is the defending Eastern Division champion and we get a chance to back them in Montreal laying less than a field goal.

Just don’t think the Alouettes are that good (we took them Under 8.5 wins before the season began) while the Redblacks are likely to turn things around.

Laying the -2.5 with Ottawa in this game, with -106 odds at Pinnacle.

Blue Bombers at Roughriders (Sunday, 3 p.m.)

Winnipeg’s been on a really nice run lately but laying more than a field goal is pretty uncharted territory for them, especially on the road. They were outplayed last week in Montreal but benefited from 4 interceptions, returning one for a TD. They won’t keep winning the turnover battle forever.

Saskatchewan showed a lot of guts last week in going down 17 points in the first quarter in Edmonton, then rallying to make it a tight game. The Roughriders have been outclassed a lot this season but they should look at this as a winnable game on their home field, which is pretty rare.

We like Saskatchewan to keep things close, if not pull out the upset. Give us Roughriders +5, which we grabbed at -115 odds at Bodog.
