Toronto Raptors Betting Odds Versus The Cavaliers

All of a sudden, the Toronto Raptors have managed to erase a 2-0 series deficit against the Cleveland Cavaliers and force a best-of-three with a berth in the NBA Finals on the line. How have Toronto’s odds changed in this series and how are Raptors supporters making out?

After the Raptors were blown out in the first two games, there’s no denying it was looking bleak for the We The North movement.

We did see a bit of action on Toronto to win the series at +379 before Game 1, but that number jumped all the way up to almost +1000 before Game 3.

The Raptors were at +550 after they won Game 4 and currently sit at +450 to advance to the NBA Finals, so that’s a good indication of the betting support the Raptors are seeing.

It would be a huge upset, but with Jonas Valanciunas reportedly ready to return from his ankle injury, that could be the boost the Raptors need. Valanciunas was the team’s best player early in the playoffs and should give Toronto a huge edge in the paint.

The Raps are listed as 10-point underdogs for Game 5 in Cleveland, but about 74 percent of bettors like Toronto to cover the big point spread.

Preakness Betting and Belmont Stakes Odds

Exaggerator ended Nyquist’s bid at a Triple Crown with a slight upset at the Preakness Stakes last weekend. Where did the betting public have their money?

Nyquist was set as a 3-5 favourite and easily saw the most action as bettors bought in to the story of a potential Triple Crown winner.

On a sloppy track it wasn’t meant to be as Exaggerator passed Nyquist on the backstretch and ran away with an easy win at 5-2 odds.

Unfortunately, we won’t see Nyquist at the Belmont Stakes as he pulled out already due to an elevated white cell count, so it isn’t surprising to see Exaggerator as an early 10-11 favourite.

Champions League Betting Odds

Looking ahead to this weekend, the Madrid Derby will decide the Champions League title as Real Madrid faces Atletico Madrid. What are the hot bets for that matchup?

Early bettors have been siding with Real Madrid as a +127 favourite, but this is shaping up to be a very interesting match.

It wouldn’t be shocking to see more action come in on Atletico Madrid as a +215 underdog and you could make a case for taking a 90-minute draw at +231 as well.

Atletico has played Real tough recently and these inter-city derbies are always intense games.

Other popular bets include over 2.5 total goals and Cristiano Ronaldo to score anytime at +129.
