Betting on the individual games is our favourite way to do NFL betting, but betting on the division winners is a lot of fun too.
Before the season starts, or even in the middle of the season at some sportsbooks, you can lay your money on who will win a particular division. You can play it safe and lay money on the big favourites at small return, or you can take a few longshots and hope one of them come through.
If you’re actually trying to make money through your NFL betting, not just playing for fun, make sure you bet on teams that offer value. Teams like the Patriots, Seahawks, Broncos and Packers are popular picks to win divisions, but you probably won’t get fair odds on them. We suggest looking for a few teams that could surprise, like the Cowboys or Panthers last season.
