CFL Point Spreads: Week 4

Three of the four games in Week 3 of the CFL season were routs, with only the Calgary-Winnipeg contest decided by less than 16 points.

It looks like we can expect a much more competitive Week 4, however.

Point spreads for this week’s CFL contests are up at offshore sportsbooks, and only one has a spread higher than four points.

Hamilton and B.C. will get this week’s action started with a Friday night kickoff in Vancouver. The 0-3 Lions are favoured by 3.5 points over the Ti-Cats, who earned their first win in impressive style last week over Saskatchewan.

Saturday afternoon, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are listed as 3.5-point underdogs as they head into Toronto for a clash with the Argonauts. Winnipeg suffered its first loss last week, a one-point heartbreaker against Calgary, while the Argos were pounded in Montreal.

Following the Winnipeg/Toronto contest, the undefeated Eskimos will visit Calgary in this year’s first installment of the Battle of Alberta. The Stampeders are 4-point favourites at home.

The week’s schedule will conclude Sunday with the league’s other winless team, Saskatchewan, taking on the 3-0 Alouettes. Montreal is a 12-point favourite.
