No comparing Proline’s parlay payouts to sportsbooks

I hardly play parlays and I never play Proline, but today I thought I’d put together a Proline ticket just for fun.

I like the Jays to continue their recent hot play, I like the Cubs to upset the Reds tonight and I think Tampa Bay has a good chance of upsetting the Bruins in Game 2.

Hopping on the Proline website, I input those three picks to see what taking those three underdogs would pay me.

The answer? A whopping 13 bucks on a two-dollar bet.

The reason I don’t play Proline anymore is because the odds are so unbelievably pathetic. But today was a good reminder. I logged into my account at JustBet, input the same three games on a parlay and saw I would win $21.40 on a two-dollar bet.

When you keep in mind that Proline’s payout includes your original wager (so you technically only win 11, not 13, on that Proline ticket I put together), JustBet’s payout is almost two times what Proline would pay me.

We’ll soon be putting together a Proline/parlay calculator on our site so that you can do what I did today – input your games and compare what Proline would pay you to what an offshore sportsbook would pay you. Once you’ve seen first-hand the difference between Proline and offshore payouts are on parlays, I’ll bet that you’ll never bet Proline again.
