Tigers at Red Sox

Sportsbook odds: Tigers +100/Red Sox -110, O/U 8
Ontario Proline Odds: Tigers 1.75/Red Sox 1.65, O/U 8.5
British Columbia PlayNow Odds: Tigers 1.87/Red Sox 1.95, O/U 8.5
Western Canada Proline Odds: Tigers 1.75/Red Sox 1.65, O/U 8
Quebec Mise-O-Jeu Odds: Tigers 1.75/Red Sox 1.65, O/U 8.5
Atlantic Canada Proline Odds: Tigers 2.55/Tie 2.85/Red Sox 2.30, O/U 8.5

Why the Tigers will win: From a win-loss standpoint, at least, Max Scherzer is having one of the best pitching seasons in baseball in the 21st century. With a victory tonight, the Tigers righty would join Roger Clemens as the only other pitcher in history to start a season 20-1. Scherzer is also 11-0 with a 1.89 ERA in his last 19 road starts. Detroit has beaten up Boston lefty Jon Lester to a tune of a 5.26 ERA in six all-time meetings.
Why the Red Sox will win: Detroit slugger Miguel Cabrera could be out of the lineup once again after suffering an abdominal strain last week. Boston has won 40 of its last 58 meetings with the Tigers at Fenway Park.

Orioles at Indians

Sportsbook odds: Orioles -105/Indians -105, O/U 8.5
Ontario Proline Odds: Orioles 1.75/Indians 1.65, O/U 8.5
British Columbia PlayNow Odds: Orioles 1.87 /Indians 1.95, O/U 8
Western Canada Proline Odds: Orioles 1.75/Indians 1.65, O/U 8.5

Atlantic Canada Proline Odds: Orioles 2.45/Tie 2.85/Indians 2.40, O/U 8.5

Why the Orioles will win: Cleveland’s surprise run at a wild card seems to be running out of gas, with the Indians losing six of their last seven and scoring just 16 runs in that span. Baltimore is 16-5 in Chris Tillman’s last 21 road starts and 19-7 in his last 26 starts overall.
Why the Indians will win: Though he went 1-4 in August, Ubaldo Jimenez has posted a 3.10 ERA over the past month and struck out 28 batters in his last 18 2/3 innings.
Our pick: Orioles

Blue Jays at Diamondbacks

Sportsbook odds: Blue Jays +140/Diamondbacks -155, O/U 9
Ontario Proline Odds: Blue Jays 2.10/Diamondbacks 1.45, O.U 8.5
British Columbia PlayNow Odds: Blue Jays 2.30/Diamondbacks 1.65, O/U 8.5
Western Canada Proline Odds: Blue Jays 2.15/Diamondbacks 1.40, O/U 8.5
Quebec Mise-O-Jeu Odds: Blue Jays 2.15/Diamondbacks 1.40, O/U 8.5
Atlantic Canada Proline Odds: Blue Jays 3.15/Tie 2.90/Diamondbacks 1.95, O/U 8.5

Why the Blue Jays will win: Toronto is hot, winning six of eight and allowing two runs or less in six of those games. Arizona is not, losing eight of its last 12 and scoring eight runs in its past five games combined. Todd Redmond is coming off a 7-2 win over the Yankees in his last outing.
Why the Diamondbacks will win: Redmond has been awful on the road, posting an ERA of 7.41 in four starts away from Rogers Centre. Diamondbacks starter Wade Miley is 3-1 with 2.39 ERA in last seven trips to the hill. Arizona is 13-3 in its last 16 interleague games at home.
Our pick: Blue Jays
