On the NHL betting Stanley Cup odds, the West is Best.
That’s what bettors think, at least, since the top four Stanley Cup favourites are all from the Western Conference.
The Blues and Ducks are co-favourites at +750 on the Stanley Cup betting odds at Sports Interaction, followed closely by the Blackhawks and Predators at +800.

“These odds will probably fluctuate a little each week leading up to the trade deadline, when major moves are more likely,” said a Sports Interaction NHL betting analyst.
“Interestingly enough, no team from the East has cracked that top four yet. The public’s perception — rightly or wrongly — remains that West is Best.”
The fact that the top four Stanley Cup betting favourites are from the Western Conference might also be because the East is so competitive. Sure, the eight playoff teams might already pretty much be determined, but the order they’ll be in is not.
“Instead of a battle to the last day of the season to make the big dance, we’re going to see an arms race leading up to the trade deadline,” the Sports Interaction NHL betting analyst said of the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
The top-ranked team from the East on the Stanley Cup betting odds is the Penguins, who are +1000 at Sports Interaction. The Lightning is +1100, and the Rangers and Canadiens are both +1200.
